During summer season M/S Jeppe departs from Copenhagen to Hven. Enjoy a relaxing trip taking 1 1/2 hours through the scenic Sound. Once on Hven there are many ways to explore the island. Most visitors get around by renting one of Hvens’ distinctive yellow bicycles. If you need help to pedel rent an electric bicycle
Another option is to rent an electric golf cart for two or order a horse drawn carriage, Jump on the public Hven bus that drives along the main road and connects to and from the ferries or order a local taxi to comfortly take you around. It is also possible to simply take a nice and quiet stroll around Hven.
Hven is a great place and it is recommended to spend a few days. Options to stay are diverse and include hostel, cabins, campsites, B&B and hotels.
Hven is a nature reserve and it is as such only allowed to camp on Hvens camping site, situated directly on the edge of the Sound.
It is recommended to book in advance. Contact the suppliers directly, the tourist information in Landskrona or the Tycho Brahe Museum which happily assist you with booking an overnight stay.
ADVENTURES & ACTIVITIES
Hven offers a wide range of activities. Try out mini golf, horse riding and highland court at Äventyrsarken or enjoy pure relaxation at the local spa with a massage at Hälsa från Hven.
Are you interested in history you can visit Nämndemansgården which contains historical exhibitions. Guided tours of the island can be arranged through Vens Lilja.
The whisky distillation offers guided tours of the distillery and last but not least, the Tycho Brahe-museum is always worth a visit.
ART & CULTURE
The beautiful light and surroun-dings have long been a source of inspiration for a number of artists, and as such you find several studios and galleries on Hven
Challenge your creativity and learn veawing or painting. Go back in history at the local history museum Nämndemansgården or at the Tycho Brahe museum.
On the Ascension day of Christ the yearly art day (Hvens Konstrunda) takes place, where the local artists exibit their art and arrange art courses.
